The Only Thing Constant Is Change

Today I was trained for route two biscuit and diet bowl distribution! Mimi took care of Munchkin Land so I could be trained for more  I will still need to have someone with me for the next couple of days, but I am learning which bowls go where quite quickly (which monkeys are diabetic, which are toothless, and which receive the "regular" diets). I also supervised four community service workers while they chopped vegetables and fruit for the next four days, washed biscuit and diet bowls, and washed monkey toys (while helping of course!).  Today we also had a meeting (while eating gumbo!) Mimi and Vicky created schedules for everyone concerning the different chores at the sanctuary. We also went over the plans for this week. I'm excited to see the routine become more and more efficient. Jimmy the Jerk (a white faced capuchin) was trained to point at his eye before his time here at Jungle Friends. He was actually going to be in one of the "Babe" pig movies (I'm not sure if he was or not). However, the interns around here like to say that Jimmy has a gang, and when he makes his punk face and points at his eye, he's actually making his gang sign. Today, he made the gang sign and pointed at me! Another inter, Becky, says that I'm in his gang now... I hope I don't miss the first meeting.
